We got a assignment to move all the reports from all the servers to new SSRS based on SQL Server 2008. It was cumbersome task because there were 16 projects and 287 reports were present on different servers, so we used the following tool to generate script http://www.sqldbatips.com/showarticle.asp?ID=62. We were able to generate the script for all the server, but transfer option was not working.
it was keep on giving following error
Could not connect to server: http://xxxv1/ReportServer/ReportService2005.asmx
But finally i was able to resolve this issue by simply copying all the script on target server temp folder and run the script from the server by changing the server to localhost in the config file.

After successfully deploying the reports the only thing was to reapply the password for the data sources.
